Triumph was Rik Emmett (lead vocals), Gil Moore (drums), and Mike Levine (Bassist/keyboardist) before Rik went solo later in his career. This trio developed a great presence on the Canadian rock scene in the 70's and 80's. Their songs are great with many being about music itself and the power it has. The band basically won over their audience with hard work touring North America. Impressive concert displays of sound and light were some of the best at the time.
Some of Triumps hits are Magic Power, Follow Your Heart, Lay it on the Line, Hold On, Fight the Good Fight, Spellbound, Somebody's Out There, Tears in the Rain and A World of Fantasy.

Rik Emmett still tours as Rik Emmett solo artist.
Gil Moore is an interesting guy who owns the world renowned Metalworks Studios in Mississauga, Ontario Canada and has always been known as a pyrotechnics expert as well.
