April Wine

Dont waste my money driving round in a car
Save my money for electric guitars
Disco musics just a social disease
If it dont rock me, then it aint gonna please me

All I wanna do is rock n roll
All I wanna do is rock and rock some more
Wanna rock, wanna rock"

April Wine Harder Faster

You are probably wondering which songs or discs to get. Well there are a lot of albums by this artist so maybe a greatest hits disc would be a good start. The one that i have is great with 19 songs. It's Over 60 Minutes With April Wine The Hits.

Faster, The Nature Of The Beast, and Power Play are all excellent and should be bought separately. Luckily for those who can't afford to buy every disc ever made, there is the album Over 60 Minutes With April Wine All The Rockers.

1. Anything You Want, You Got It
2. I Like To Rock
3. RollerOver 60 Minutes With April Wine All The Rockers

Update: I went to my first April Wine show the other night. Myles Goodwyn seemed a little grouchy but maybe it was just one of those days. The quality of the show was good although the middle of the set was a bit slow. Overall it was a good sampling of April Wine's vast catalog. I was impressed with Goodwyn's guitar playing. I never realized he was doing most of the harder chords on a lot of the songs. The beginning of Just Between You and Me was magic. Brian Greenway was great on harmonica and guitar. They had Breen Laboeuf on bass guitar and he can actually sing pretty good when needed. First time I ever saw a fire bell mounted to a drum set for Oowatanite. Can't go wrong with April Wine if you want to hear some Canadian hits.

April Wine has an awesome combination of hard rock and soft ballads. They have songs for everyone.

"Come on cant you see
That when we all let go
We get high on rock n roll

Journey to the stars, rock n roll guitars, yeah
I like to rock, some like it hot, baby
I like it, you like it
I like to rock, I like to rock"
